I have seen so much personal growth since I renounced marijuana 10 months ago that I wasn't planning on making any New Year's resolutions this year. Then it struck (no pun intended) me to pull the trigger on something I've wanted to do for a while: stop watching combat sports.
It makes sense, chronic traumatic encephalitis is very real, and by watching MMA, I help the market that helps create it. I'll miss watching it, but I don't have to stop loving martial arts.... I just have to stop watching people beat the crap out of each other.
In other news, there are signs of my improved resilience and personal growth everywhere in my life right now, this is the best I've been doing since before the pandemic.
